Everything stays local
Transcription runs through the browser's own Web Speech API, so audio is never uploaded anywhere. There is no backend to run and no per-minute API bill — the page is the whole product.

Built around the output
Text lands in an editable area with a live word count, and the three things you actually want afterwards — copy, clear, download — sit in the toolbar rather than behind a menu. Audio files can be dropped straight onto the page.
